Oh Autumn, we love you so, but (spoiler alert) sometimes the inspiration doesn't strike us and we just want to hibernate rather than make all the fun Halloween themed goodies.

DIY's I want to Try October
I Love Autumn, but I don't want everything I make this month to be Halloween themed so I have been on the look out for simple and fun Autumn themed crafty projects to keep me busy. I found some really lovely autumnal ideas that I will be giving a go this weekend. What about you? What autumnal crafts do you fancy trying this season?

Make it: Conker Pumpkins
Who can not notice that it is Halloween this week and that Autumn is definitely here! So for Half term week, I thought I would show you a Children or Adult friendly simple craft. Who doesn't love a bit of Pinterest for some Pumpkin inspiration and these Conker Pumpkins just fit the bill today.
Autumn DIY Bucket List
I love a good Autumn bucket list as you know but I wanted to give this years version a little DIY twist. These are all the things I want to have a go at making before winter arrives, what would be on your list?....
Make it: Spooky Spiders and Vampire Bats
Halloween is just around the corner and although it is not as big here in the UK as it is in the US we still love to get into the spooky spirit. Steve and I normally snuggle up and have a horror movie marathon, although this year we may have an American Horror Story marathon instead (literally can't wait for the new season), anyway, in my shop at this time of year we get asked for fun Halloween activities for the little ones to have a go at in the holidays. My go-to suggestion is always pompoms and pipe-cleaners! So today I am sharing how to make some fun spooky friends to keep the little ones (and big little ones) busy this half term.
Love it: Autumn
Autumn is by far my favourite time of year. I am a person who loves being cosy, and snuggling up at home with my hubby and our cats is my favourite thing to do in the whole world. It is a time of year when for me work gets hectic so my home is the calm, soft, warm place I can retreat to when it all gets a bit crazy. It is a time I usually get to reflect on the year that, like so many before it, has gone by way too fast and dream of the plans I can make for the last few months of the year.Low Maintenance Halloween Outfits
Some years I go all out for Halloween and some years, like this year, I just want to be a bit more low maintenance. There are some great options from our favourite fashion brands around at the moment to make it look like you have made an effort, without going the whole hog.
Make it: Workshop dates for you diary
The 'Button Jewellery' workshop was our last craft club at Norden Farm for a while, but don't worry, we are back in September with four sessions of crafty goodness taking you all the way to Christmas.
