Top 5 - Inspiring Places
Highlights of 2015
It's 2016! How did that happen hey! We thought we would reflect on our 2015 using our #2015bestnine as a starting point. You may have seen many of these posts on instagram and so we were no different in wanting to find out what you guys thought were our best nine instagram posts of 2015.
What better time then to share some of our highlights of the year!
First up would have to be working with Mollie Makes on some great projects this year including Hot air balloons and fabric houses and Sammy got to do some great stuff with Simply Sewing for her shop Sew Crafty, did you see her Quick gifts to sew booklet? and look out for something else great soon - no spoilers!
Getting to go to Renegade twice this year was pretty cool too, all the craft fairs we go to are pretty ace, but I think I can speak for both of us when I say that Renegade has a special place in both of our hearts. Just seeing all the very cool designer/makers work out there is brilliant and a great excuse for a few presents for us! You seem to really enjoy our haul posts on instagram and so this just gives us the best excuse to keep shopping!
Our tutorials are also a highlight for the year, we have made some amazing things, even if we do say so ourselves, Unicorn hobby horse and Yoga Mat seem to be a couple of favourites. We love to come up with new ideas and help you to make things of your own. We have got some great ideas coming up too, so again, watch this space!
Our holiday to Barcelona was pretty epic too. We had been as students way back in the 90's and so it was great to go back and explore. Next up would definitely have to be a bit more of a relax holiday though I think. We love cities, but sometimes you need a bit of time with a good book or 5!
We worked with some great brands this year too, from Paperchase and Zazzle through to B&Q and Turtle Mat to name but a few. Some great bloggers worked with us too and these are all things that we want to do more of in 2016.
So, it looks like some of your favourite instagram posts match our highlights for the year, lets roll on 2016 and see what is in store for us. Do let us know if you would like us to feature something in particular as we are always happy to find out what you want to learn more about.

Make it: Holiday Scrapbook Tutorial
For every holiday I have been on for as long as I can remember I have made a scrapbook when I got home to keep all the little mementos I have picked up and of course house all of my favourite photos of the trip. Why I choose to scrapbook instead of just putting the photos in an album is that I like to record my memories and highlights along with my photos. Also I love using fun papers and embellishments to give a flavour of the place I have visited too.
June's Instagram round-up
The end of the month is nearly here and so I thought it was about time for a little Instagram round-up. If you have been watching our Instagram recently you will know that we took a little break to Barcelona and so that features quite a bit, but who doesn't love holiday pictures! Also as usual food is a big feature, its a big feature in my life and so it would only be right to show it off.
Sammy's Holiday Wishlist
Yours Palm Print Trousers / Yours Mesh Swimsuit / New Look Tunic / Oliver Bonas Bag
/ Kate Spade Sunglasses / Forever 21 Necklace / Samsung Camera / River Island Shoes
H and I are off to Barcelona in just a few days and I still need to finish packing! I am waiting for the last few bits from my holiday wishlist to arrive before I can shut my suitcase and pack up my hand luggage. I am looking forward to exploring the city and chilling out on the beach with nothing to do except decide what to eat for dinner. What bits are you picking up for your trips away? Link up your wishlists and packing tips below for us to check out before we head off.
Have a lovely weekend

Barcelona 'Must Visit' List
As you may have seen H mention we are off to Barcelona in just over a week and we could not be more excited. It has been a whopping 14 years since we were there last on the college trip that made us both fall in love with the city. We are looking forward to visiting all the places we remember so fondly and discovering a load of new favourites too.
Friday Favourites: Dream Destinations
As H and I are on holiday this week it got me thinking about dream destination holidays, these are my top five. A little unconventional, you will notice no beaches, all cities and three are in the USA, because I am a bit of a fan of America. I have been lucky enough to have visited four out of five of my dream holiday locations before, but I still dream of returning someday.
New York City, the Big Apple. H and I visited for New Years in 2004/5 and it was epic. We managed to do a lot in our five days there, but I feel there is so much still to see.
Barcelona, Spain. One of my favourite European cities, mostly because of the architecture, I am a big fan of Antonio Gaudi and the city is filled with his buildings. I spent a week there on a college trip when I was 18 and fell in love with the place.
Disney World Resort, Florida. I have always been a Disney fan and visited the park when I was seven, I dream of going back with my children one day to share the magic of this place with them.
Venice, Italy. One of the only countries I have never visited is Italy and I would love to go one day. Venice in particular because of the gondoliers and the beautiful masks that are created there.
My family along with two others went as a big group for two weeks to Los Angeles and Las Vegas when I was 15. Despite not being old enough to gamble we had the most amazing time. A friend of mine is planning on going there for her Hen Party next year, so I am hoping to save up and return to this crazy town.
What are your dream holiday locations? Do you prefer lounging in a beach paradise or exploring a city like I do?
Have a lovely weekend
