As you may have seen H mention we are off to Barcelona in just over a week and we could not be more excited. It has been a whopping 14 years since we were there last on the college trip that made us both fall in love with the city. We are looking forward to visiting all the places we remember so fondly and discovering a load of new favourites too.

World Architecture Day: My love of Gaudi
Monday is World Architecture day so I thought it was only right to make this weeks Friday favourites all about our favourite architect. H and I both studied 3D design at college and learnt a lot about architecture in our three years. One Architect/designer became a favourite for the both of us, So much so that H wrote her dissertation all about him.
Antoni Gaudi
(25 June 1852 – 10 June 1926) was a Spanish Catalan architect born in Reus, in the Catalonia region of Spain and leader of Catalan Modernism. GaudÃ's works reflect his highly individual and distinctive style and are largely concentrated in the Catalan capital of Barcelona, notably his most famous still unfinished cathedral, the Sagrada FamÃlia.
I have spent many an hour dreaming of going back to visit Barcelona for Gaudi's architecture alone, maybe one day...
Hope you all have a lovely weekend
