Make it: Travel Fabric Dolls House

Last year I made a cute little dolls house in a suitcase which was more for me than anything, so this year I thought I would make one that my niece can actually play with. She loves her dolls house but is heading off on holiday next month so I thought a small fabric version that she could take with her would be the perfect compromise and wins me points to my Auntie of the year award!

We have been wanting to interview this months designer for so long, but she is always so super busy (well that's a great thing) and so we are really happy that Hannah managed to find a little time for us this month and tell us all about her business PupTart.

It took me a while but I am now a total planner convert, I can't get enough of planner supplies, I even design and print my own inserts and make my own dashboards. The summer holidays are nearly here and with that it means day trips with the kids, or day trips away from the kids! Even those of us who don't have the long holidays want to get out and enjoy this (finally) summer we seem to be having! Yesssss.

I don't know about you but we are still loving all things marble. I have seen a few marble print cushions in the shops but they all seem to be a little out of my price range, so I did what I always do in this situation, DIY! Here is how I made these little beauties for a bargain price.

Live it: Woking College show

It has been jam packed at work for me this week and so I thought a little day in the life might be interesting for those of you who wonder what I might do in the day job.  This time of year is always the final show of Woking College, it was my fifth year doing it and it definitely doesn't get any easier putting it all up, but always looks amazing when finished.

Yesterday was a big day, something we have been looking forward to being a part of for a while now, The Mollie Makes Handmade Awards. We have been watching for the last two years as friends and idols have been finalists and winners of these prestigious awards. This year, it was our turn!

It's July and so that must mean there are lots of summer parties and fun times ahead right!  The weather here in the UK seems to not be in the party spirit though and so we thought we would make it happen with paper, even if we do have to duck inside when the rain starts!
