This post has been a long time coming! This month was the month that I finally sat down and compiled our list of places we buy the thing we love more than anything else...fabric. You know that H and I both have a love for fabric, print and colour so it is only fair that we share our favourite places to go, to top up our stashes. Sew Crafty Online: I may be a little biased but this one is my favourite!
So Over it: Vintage themed fabrics and vintage themed pattern collection as well as classes. They also have an awesome Youtube channel too!
Ray Stitch: Japanese linen prints and High end Haberdashery.
Maud’s Fabric Finds: Beautiful cottons and jersey fabrics, amazing silk ribbon and pretty trimmings.
Fabric Godmother: Amazing selection of independent paper patterns and elegant dressmaking fabrics.
Ditto Fabrics: Beautiful selection of European suiting and dress fabrics.
Sew Box: Great for Liberty prints and all in one pattern packs
The Makery: Classes and fun bits and bobs for craft sewing, and a beautiful selection of sewing kits.
Fashion Fabrics Bath: A beautiful muddle of a shop packed with fun, inexpensive fashion and furnishing fabrics, a little something for everyone.
The Village Haberdashery: Fun and bold quilting fabrics, dressmaking fabrics and haberdashery. Also run classes, talks and a pretty awesome blog.
The Eternal Maker: Beautiful quilting fabrics, dressmaking fabrics and haberdashery, also have a button company and a knitting cafe.
Cloth and Candy: Online only, great selection of graphic fabric finds for the modern crafter.
My Fabric House: Online only, an amazing selection of Japanese fabrics and pretty bits, cute and fun.
M is for Make: Online only, beautiful collection of quilting and dressmaking cotton fabrics.
Guthrie and Ghani: A lovely Haberdashery run by Lauren Guthrie from Season one of The Great British Sewing Bee. Dainty prints, Linens, fashion fabrics and knits.
MacCulloch and Wallis: Decadent trimmings, millinery and lingerie supplies.
The Cloth House: Beautiful linens and cottons, natural fibres and fabrics from all over the world, also a lot of vintage finding and trims.
Misan Fabrics: (better in store) Lots of specialist fabrics, unusual textures and lots of beautiful leathers.
The London Fabric shop: (better in store) Amazing fabrics and unusual textiles (high end)
Liberty: Because, well it's Liberty! Have you been to see the new improved haberdashery department, worth a visit, promise!
