It's coming to the end of the year and not only that but it's the last few online shopping days to get items in time for Christmas and so we thought that not only would we do a round-up of all our great "Let's Meet" interviews this year, but also it might help with those last minute present ideas.
So, to start in
January, we had the
Sewing Directory, with not only a great website resource but a
book too that might work well for anyone who wants to start their own creative business in 2016.
Next in
February, is a firm favourite of H's and is
Wolf & Moon. They also now stock in
asos, exciting! aswell as their own great website with all the stock you could want. So pretty.
In
March it was Hello DODO's turn with their great prints and t-shirts. They sell on
Etsy and
Not on the High Street and so plenty of options to find a last minute present.
Starting spring in
April, was
Floss & Mischief with these amazing cross stitch patterns, making cross stitch cool again, they stock in Liberty's too, so they must be good!
time and it's the start of Wedding season, so it seemed appropriate to say hello to
Oh Squirrel with her great Hen Party, wedding and just about anytime ideas, love these fabric labels!
It now comes to
June and
Frilly Industries was our interview this month. These girls make such cool jewellery that we just had to feature them.
July's interview came about from a craft fair visit - the best kind of designer/maker finding territory! This month was
Lucy Alice Designs, both of us came away with purchases from that fair!
In
August we showcased
London Craft Club and their great classes they offer. Another great idea for presents are experiences rather than one off gifts. I have got a pottery course to look forward to in the new year for one of my Christmas gifts, but this concrete jewellery class is firmly on my wish list too.
gave us the opportunity to talk to two ladies who run
East Wick, a favourite of Sammy's. They make these great smelling candles and they last so well too, perfect candle behaviour! And I can tell you from a summer working to test candles, that long lasting candles are a good thing!
Now, lastly but by no means least in
October we talked to Fran from
Fall for DIY about the
We Make Collective subscription boxes that came out just a few months ago. The gift that keeps on giving throughout the year!
