Introducing a brand new venture for Sew Crafty, in association with the fantastic GillyMac Designs!
Welcome to our very first Sew Crafty Sub Club! The Sew Crafty Sub Club is a subscription service where every year we will present a different collectable project for you to follow along at home, over the coming months, and end up with a beautiful final piece of work you can be proud of. Along the way, you will have picked up a whole new bunch of skills, honed in some old ones, and hopefully made some new crafty friends! This year, working with GillyMac Designs, the Sub Club is called SC Squared as we will be making a gorgeous applique quilt perfect for a baby or toddler. Something they can grow with and keep forever. Personalised with their name, and in a colour they love, this will be the perfect handmade keepsake for any family.
What's a sub club? The club will run for 12 months. You can purchase each month from the Sew Crafty website separately, when they are released, for £25.95 +P+P. But if you subscribe to the club you pay just £19.95 a month, inc P+P, you'll get your regular subscription box, lessons online, plus you get access to our three bonus lessons, and get a tonne of extra fabric and thread thrown in for good measure. Once you have signed up, payments will leave your account every month without you even lifting a finger. All you have to do is wait for your box to arrive and get cracking on the next block.
What do I get? In each subscription box, you will get all the fabric and thread you need to complete that square of the quilt. This will usually mean enough (and more if you subscribe) beautiful Dashwood Twist fabric and thread in your chosen colour scheme, as well as plenty Bondaweb to keep you going. You can choose pink, blue or grey colour schemes. But all are gorgeous! You will also receive the monthly lessons, written and designed exclusively for us by the wonderful GillyMac designs. These feature the step by step instructions on how to create your beautiful quilt. Don't forget to join our very special Facebook group, where Sew Crafty and Gill will be on hand to answer any questions, and you can meet everyone else giving the club a go! The first box will be posted in the first week of February.
What skills will be covered? In this club you will learn how to applique like a master, joining and quilting, as well as backing and binding the whole thing to finish it off.
Anything else? In addition to the subscription boxes, we have bonus products on the website set up just for this year's project.
