Our Craftacular Adventure

Last Sunday H and I took a trip to Bethnal Green to one of our fave handmade fairs Bust Craftacular. This year we were not only there to catch up with the usual suspects, but we were hosting a papercutting banner workshop at the event too.

We knew a bunch of our blogging and maker friends were going to be there too so we were set for a fun day of catching up and crafting fun.

Our first stop was for a chat with Ruth and Brendan of I am Acrylic, we oohed and ahhed over all their lovely new products. Followed by more chats and cuddles with Claireabellemakes and Kate of Daphne Rosa before heading around the rest of the fair for a quick look before we headed to set up for our first workshop. 

We were fully booked for both of our sessions on the day which was amazing, we did have a couple of missing attendees but a few extras showed up to take their places in the end so everyone was happy.  We had such a fun bunch of paper cutters who all made it home with all their fingers intact and their very own colourful word banners.

Even though we were busy making all day we had time to do a quick trolley dash around the fair to pick up a few fun bits, before we headed out for drinks and dinner with our friends Hannah and Rosie from The New Craft House.

I got this cute Sew necklace and Dream Big print from Claireabellemakes, a matching ring and earrings from the lovely A Weathered Penny and two pineapple themed beauties from I am Acrylic and PupTart.

H picked up a little lump necklace and a cloud necklace to add to her I am Acrylic collection along with a pineapple patch from PupTart and print from Claire too!

We had a marvellous day teaching our attendees how to papercut their own banners and catching up with friends. We can't wait for all the fairs we have planned to go to over the next few months, you know we will share them all with you too.
